Summary: We have a lovely friendly welcoming from a fellow kiwi which was so nice and we also got an unexpected bottle of wine for my 50th birthday..the free shuttle was great into Banff.. we did find the rooms were very tired and need to be undated modernised and were really dark.

Summary: The hotel is at good and quiet location with the bus stop at its door way. Yet it is not too busy as in the downtown. The room was well equipped, clean. I like the simple kitchen. However, there is only two sets of washer/dryers. One set was out of order during my stay. The other set was always busy. Yet, the laundry closed at 10pm. For the room, it sleeps 4 people, but there were only two chairs. I hope the hotel can improve these two areas. The AC unit control cannot turn off the loud fan. I don’t know if it was by design or malfunctioned.

Summary: Good: room is large, kitchen has basic materials to cook in, room looks to be renovated, front desk staff nice, ease of parking Bad: price ($500 us avg/night) too high for basic room, shower has mold, sofa bed has stains and uncomfortable), interior doors don't close properly additional info: walk to town is steep and about 20 minutes, free ROAM bus stop is right in front but wait is 20-30 minutes and always crowded, need to temper expectation due to high price

Summary: 5 minutes from town. Quiet. Shuttle stop adjacent. Outdoor playground and grill a bonus. Overall comfortable stay. Some aspects need attention: stainless steel pans/pots are a plus, but all black nylon utensils that melt on contact doesn't work. The room and bathroom door is misaligned so doesn't shut. Carpet isn't ideal for cleanliness. Laundry room only had 1 unit working. Pool inadequately heated.

Summary: Place is nice but prices in Banff are high. Hence, it is Ok for what you pay but not exciting. Very nice receptionist from New Zealand, who was very helpful regarding activities in the area.

Summary: Perfect location Friendly, helpful staff Great units. It accommodated well up to 8 people without feeling cramped . I just love the bathroom products, very ecological & beautiful scent.
